About us

Reimagine water. Change the world.

Water Ledger Global brings water users, managers, investors and intermediaries together around shared facts. We are building trust infrastructure for water, today and for generations to come.

A shared purpose.
A future worth
building together.

Indisputable accountability between the water we have, the water we use, the water we share, and the value we exchange.

Our story began in Australia in 2016. Today, Water Ledger Global is headquartered in Ireland, with subsidiaries in Australia, South Africa and the United States.

We combine water-sector experience with software and distributed ledger technology to make shared water facts more useful, more accessible and easier to verify.

Our commitment to independence

The water ledger is independent infrastructure, with no stake in the outcome.

Shared facts are only trusted when the infrastructure that holds them has nothing to gain from any particular result. The commitments Water Ledger Global makes here keep the water ledger independent, for every solution and wallet that runs on it.

We will never

  • Create tokens to trade on crypto exchanges.

We do not

  • Trade.
  • Broker.
  • Hold credits or other instruments for ourselves.
  • Hold tokens, other than to pay network fees.
  • Finance the projects recorded on the ledger.

How we work.
What we stand for.

Empathy

We give people the benefit of the doubt and the respect that is due to them. We stay curious and work to understand.

Courtesy

We make an effort to save others time, preparing in advance and anticipating needs. We are honest, humble and fair.

Craftsmanship

We respect excellence and pay attention to detail. We are always learning to do it better, and we act with intention.

Playfulness

We look at the world sideways and stay curious. We play well with others and aim to delight our customers.

Solidarity

We take the interests of all into account. We see ourselves as one team, not a collection of individuals.

Thriving

We want to do the best work of our lives and help others do the same. We take pleasure in our craft.

A water team.
With a world of experience.
